Contemplative Traditions

CONTEMPLATIVE TRADITIONS LIBRARY

These works speak from the interior phenomenology side of the diptych. They present my own direct experiences of consciousness when the self‑model dissolves: the unity of awareness, the impossibility of dualistic description, and the felt sense of coherence contemplative traditions call “divine.” These are not metaphysical claims, but reports from the lived experience of consciousness without attachment to a personal self. They complement the Unified Theory of Cognition (UTC) by offering the experiential interior that the structural architecture makes intelligible. The Universal Theory of Cognition does not address these experiences directly, except through the lens of the science or philosophy of religion. These books are not written from that vantage; they arise from direct experiential knowledge of the interior, consistent with what contemplative traditions are known for.

The Self Delusion falsely convinces us that we are a separate being. This Delusion is increasingly being recognized by science as the self-model is seen as a construct. The ego is not destroyed or dissolved when it it recognized as a delusion. It simply becomes the tool is was always meant to be.
